Terms of Service
This page explains the rights and obligations that come with a LightXtreme VPN account, from registering and buying a plan to running the client and getting help afterwards, and it says plainly how a subscription is counted, when a refund applies and what is allowed. Downloading, installing or using LightXtreme VPN means you accept these terms.
1. What the service covers
LightXtreme VPN combines cross-region acceleration with privacy protection, and it ships for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Android TV, Apple TV and Linux, plus browser extensions for the common browsers, with more than 2,000 servers sitting in 70+ countries and regions and the client showing which nodes are available to connect.
Free trial and plans
The first download gives you a 30-minute free trial, and after that everything runs on a subscription where whichever plan you choose allows 3 devices to be online on one account at the same time.
Ways of paying
Paying is possible through Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay, credit cards, PayPal, Google Play and Stripe, and the plan activates as soon as the payment succeeds while the exact settlement time is whatever the payment provider decides.
2. Money back conditions
There is a 30-day money-back guarantee, and inside 30 days of activation you can request a refund through the client or by email and describe how the service performed for you, so that a confirmed refund ends the plan while plans beyond 30 days or already used in part are not refundable unless the law states otherwise.
Making good for downtime
If long connection failures are caused by our servers and you report them in good time, extending your subscription may be used as compensation.
3. Using the service properly
You must follow the laws and the network usage rules of your area while using LightXtreme VPN, and you may not use the service for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to:
- attacking, intruding on or disrupting other networks or servers, or conducting fraud, phishing or other unlawful activity;
- bulk registering accounts, sharing or transferring them, or abusing trial and subscription resources through automation;
- transmitting illegal or harmful content, or infringing the intellectual property, privacy or other legitimate rights of others;
- using the service in a way that breaches the terms of the platform it is used on.
Where these rules are broken we may suspend access, limit what the account can do, or close it, and serious cases may be taken further.
4. Ownership and rights
Intellectual property in the LightXtreme VPN client software, website content, interface design, icons and word marks stays with LightXtreme VPN and the relevant rightsholders, so copying, changing, decompiling, redistributing or using it commercially needs written permission, while data you produce while using the service lawfully belongs to you.
Updates to the service
Features, node layout, plan pricing and promotions may be adjusted from time to time and every change appears on this website, and when an adjustment touches the rights in a plan we say so in advance so that customers who already paid keep the old terms for the rest of their paid period.
Where our responsibility ends
As far as the law allows, LightXtreme VPN is not answerable for dropped connections or speed changes caused by force majeure, a carrier problem or a local policy decision, and a VPN changes the route your traffic takes, so a few sites may block VPN traffic because of their own risk rules.
